Watch The Throne Album Review
I asked myself, "What am I really expecting from this album?" I mean considering how much hype went into the thought, the process of making it and release itself. The truth is it's really what you make it cause to some it's just music but I think it's musical genius mixed with heavy baselines and a very hot flow. Lyrical content and production are one point. After my third listen today I really cant fault it. There is something for everyone. A good ass job! Hell if you don't believe me find out for yourselves.

J.Cole sticks to his word and releases yet another instalment to his Any Given Sunday series. Get the link and check out what he had to say below
"For the record, these are not mixtapes, not EP’s either. I wake up on Sunday’s and I decide what songs I want to let out or rerelease for yall. You’ve been so patient for 2 YEARS! I think you deserve some insight and unreleased music.
1. Bring Em’ In- Made this in ATL during the “single hunt” phase. Even though it wasn’t a single and won’t make the album, I love this shit!
2. Roll Call- Just some real shit. Venting
3. Be Freestyle- “Put on for my city like my favorite jacket… “man, you gon’ where that every got damn night??”.. “know what I paid for this shit?? bitch, you got damn right!!”

Tupac Covers XXL September Issue
XXL pays tribute to the late Tupac Shakur as we approach the 15th year anniversary of his death, on September 13, by speaking with those who were close to him. The Issue will hit stands on August 16th but you can check out XXLMag for some exclusive content. Below is an excerpt from Tupac’s biological father, Bill Garland.
“[Tupac] cared for people,” he said. “That was his main thing. He really cared for people. I think that’s why he would get so upset when people tried to question his commitment, his love for Black women or Black men. The East Coast/West Coast, you know, that’s a fabrication. I don’t have to begin to tell you that. So when that was questioned, it bothered him. Because he would give his heart or soul. He was a giving person. He would give anything to people. He would go in a store. [If there was a] Black man who couldn’t afford a $1,500 pair of boots, he would buy ’em for him. Think that Black man would ever forget Tupac? That’s just the way he is. But I don’t think that he did it for that. He did it because he had it, and he didn’t. That’s the way he is.”
